Serum Trigliseride and Cholesterol Levels in -Leukemic and Lympoma Patients

In this study, cholesterol and triglyceride levels were evaluated in 15 non-Hodgkin 11 Hodgkin and 19 leukemia patients retrospectively between 1992-1994 in Selcuk University Department of Internal Medicine. Trigylceride levels has been found high in 17 patients with lymphoma (65,38 %) and 8 patients with leukemia (42, 10%). Triglyceride level was low in 1 patient with leukemia (5.10%). Triglyceride level was not low in any lymphoma patients. Cho-lesterol levels were high in 2 patients with lym-phoma (7.8%) and 1 patient with leukemia (5.10%). Cholesterol levels were low in 3 patients with leu-kemia (15.30%). Also cholesterol levels were low in 3 patients with lymphoma (10.15%).
