Prostat kanseri dünyada erkeklerde cilt kanserlerinden sonra en sık görülen kanserdir. En sık görülen histolojik tip asiner adenokarsinomlar olup, müsinöz adenokarsinom çok daha nadir görülen bir alt tiptir. Burada 64 yaşında prostatın benign hiperplazisi nedeni ile ameliyat edilen ve rezeksiyon materyalinin histopatolojik incelemesinde müsinöz adenokarsinom tanısı alan bir olgu literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
