Marjolin’s ulcer is a term to describe a malignancy arising from scar tissue, especially burn scars. It appears on burn scar a long period after initial burn injury. The most common malignancy is squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) for these type of patients. Basal cell carcinoma, melanoma and sarcoma have less frequently been reported. Biopsy is the most important diagnostic procedure. The treatment is wide excision and regional lymph node dissection. A 12 year old child admitted to our clinic with unhealed wound in the axillary region for ten months. The patient had an ulcer axillary region through thorax. Incisional biopsy was performed. Histopathologic examination revealed that SCC. Wide surgical excision was done. The defect area was covered with flap. Axillar contracture was reconstructed with Z-platies. The case was presented due to early development of Marjolin’s ulcer as in ten years.
