Bu çalışmada ishalli 147 hastanin gotta ornegi patojen protozoon yoniinden degerlendirildi. Otuz-bir ornekte patojen protozoon saptandt, bunlartn 20'si Entanzobea histolytica (E. hisiolytica) ye 117 Giardia lamblia (G. lamblia) idi. Gaita ornekkri pa-tojen non-patojen bakterikrin izolasymu kin bakteriyolojik yOtukn incelendi. Patojen protozoon pozitif olan Urneklerin yalnizra ikisinde patojen bak-teri edildi ye istatistiksel olarak anlamsiz bit-hindu. Patojen intestinal protozon bulunan pita Or-neklerinde Escherichia coli (E. coil) amp gdzIendi ye bit ariq isiatistiksel olarak anlanalt buhtndu.
