Özeti Bu calumada, 01 Ocak 1991 ye 31 Aralik 1994 yillari arasinda Selcuk Universitesi Tip Fakiiltesi Hastanesinin deg4ik klinik ye polikliniklerinden gonderilen hastalarin hogaz Ornekleri, bogaz in-feksiyonlarinda etken patojenlerin ye izolasyon sik-tiklaninn saptanmasi amactyla deg erlendirildi. Top-lam 15510 hogaz orneginin 13171'inde (% 85 ) normal hogaz florast bakterileri saptanirken, 2339 (% 15 ) ornekte etken patojen mikroorganizmalar izole edildi. En sik izole edilen patojenler; 603 (% 25) Staphylococcus aureus, 569 (% 24) A grubu beta hemolitik Streptococcus (AGBHS), ye 345 (% 14) Non A Non B grubu beta hemolitik Strep-tococcus olarak hulundu.

In this study, we evaluated throat cultures which come to the University of Selcuk Microbiology Unit among the dates 01 January 1991 and 31 December 1994. We researched the effective pathogen of thro-at infections and their isolation rates. From total 15510 throat samples, 13171 (85 %) of them were normal flora bacteria and 2339 (15 %) of the samp-les, it was isolated the effective pathogen mic-roorganisms. Most frequently isolated pathogens were found; 603 (25 %) Staphylococcus aureus, 569 (24 %) group A beta hemolytic Streptococcus and 345 (14 %) Non A Non B group beta hemolytic Streptococcus.
