CHARACTERISTICS OF MITOCONDRIAL HERITAGE IN HUMAN

Whole mammalian cells contain at least two different genetic sisters. The first of these are nuclear genes that are numerically, functional and pathologically very important, the second is the mi-tochondrial genes that are located in the cytoplasm and are used as 2-10 circuses, gift-helix DNA molecules in each mitochondria. A complete sequence analysis of the human mitochondrial DNA (traDNA) site, which is about 16,569 nichleotide pairs (nc) in length, is approximately the total cell DNA.
