Bu çalışmada Cyclosporin Anın böbrek perfüzyonunda kullanılmastyla oluşan nefrotoksisitenin biokimyasal ve histo-patolojik olarak gösterilmesi amaçlanınıştır. Bu amaçla, 10 sokak köpeginde böbrek arter ve venası kateterize edildi. içinde 50 mg Cyclospor-in A bulunan + 4•C daki 200 ml ringer laktat solımyonu ortalama 8 dakika içinde ve bir metre yükseklikten perfüze edildi. Posı operatif kontrollerde BUN ve serum kreatininde anma gözlendi. Nef-rotoksisitenin hisio-patolojik özellikleri belirlendi. Bu yöntemle oluşan nefrotoksisite düşük doz kullanılarak azaltılabilir. Ancak bu uygulama sonucu oluşacak immünsüpressif etkinliğin de araştırılması gerekir.
