31 epileptik vakada,difenelhidantoin (DPH) in periferik nöropati oluşturma oranı, elektrofizyolojik ve klinik verilerle ortaya konmaya çalışıldı. 2 yıl gibi kısa bir süre ilaç kullanılmasının bile genellikle en azından subklinik düzeyde polinöropati oluşturabildiği görüldü. Polinöropatinin patogenezi, literatür bilgileri ile birlikte tartışıldı.
