Özeti Kubital tune! sendromunun tanısında ulnar sinir iletim hızının dirsek, dirsek altı ve dirsek üstü seg-mentlerinde tayini gereklidir. Pratikte bu değerlendirme kol ekstansiyonda iken yapılır. Lite-ratürde dirseğin değişen açılarında ulnar sinir iletim hızının değişebilecek bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada dirseğin 180, 90 ve 45 derecelik açılarında, ulnar sinirin dirsek ve dirsek altı segmen-tlerinde, motor ve miks sinir iletim hızları tayin edildi. Kolun fleksiyonu ile, dirsek segmentinde mo-tor iletim hızında, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı azalma bulundu (p<0.05 ). Literatür ışığında sonuçlar tartışıldı.

The conduction velocity of the ulnar nerve must be determined in different segments; across elbow, below elbow and above elbow for diagnosis of cubi-tal tunnel syndrome. The test is usually made when the elbow is in full extension. However the position of the elbow seems to influence the conduction ve-locity of the motor axons of the ulnar nerve. In this study we determined motor and mixed nerve conduction velocities of the ulnar nerve in dif-ferent segments-across elbow and below elbow -al dillerent elbow positions (180, 90, 45). We havt found that when the elbow is flexed, the slowing of the motor conduction velocity of the ulnar nerve in across elbow segment is statistically significant. The results are discussed ander the light of the other literatures.
