Hypertrigliseridemia reeognized complication of pregnancy. in patients with familial hypert-rigliseridernicı. the biocheınical changes are greatly enhanced during pregnancy and may be associated with acut pancreatitis, potentially fatal triad. There have been 11 eases of hyperlipidemic pancreatitis during pregnancy reported in English literature since 1956. Irt this report, a ease of panereatitis and missed abortus associated with type prinıary hypertrigliseridemia in a pregnant is reported. Guidlines for prevention and rnanangement of this rare disorder in pregnancy are presented.
