Anal submucosal methotrexate was applied ta totaly 5 patients; one women and 4 men with transi-tional cell carcinoma which was evaluated that it was inoperable between the dates of july 1990 and july 1991 in the urology department of Konya Selçuk Medical Faculty. The aim of applying anal submu-cosal was to provide drug involments with high con-centrtions in the bladder rather (han its being system-ic by making use of the venous comminications between anal sanal and the bladder. CT, ultrasound and endoscopic examinations proved that these applications had been useful mark-edly. Any complications hadn't been observed due to drug applications on the application area because of injections.
