After many new studies showing that some coronary artery anomalies may result in sudden death, angina pectoris and myocardial infarction, interest in anomalies has increased and its clinical significance has become better understood. It has been emphasized that the changes in the proximal course of the coronary artery may be important in addition to the abnormal origin (1,2,4).
