The growths (ıf 133 children in Konya Child-ren. Care Center were evaluated. Serum growth hor-mone (GH) kvels were measured in 15 children with growth failure bv using L-Dopa stimulation and in-sulin- induced hvoglycemia. All of the children in. research group had maximum serum GH values hig-her than 7 nghnl. Tlıere was no correlation between antıtıal growth rate (ınd maximum serum GH level (p>0.05). Eleyen of 15 children ilı research group had retanled bone maturation. The ejfects of mother deprivation on growth were discussed.
