Anterior abdominal wall hematoma is a rare pat-hological condition.It may simulate the acute surgi-cal abdomen. Ilematoma was diagnosed by utilizing ultrasonography (USG) and computerized tomogra-phy (ST) in six patients who vere thouht to have acute abdomen orland abdominal mass. Although the diagnosis was made by USG, CT had been used to investigate localization, extension and associated pathological conditions of the hematoma. In !his article,differential diagnosis of andominal wall hematomas from acute surgical abdomen in six patients by using USG and CT are presented.
