Are these Duputyren's Contractures in Our Community

The etiology and pathogenesis of Dupuytren contractures, which have been studied and deseribed by Cont Chigot, since 1831 is not clear yet. We have discussed the 21 cases which we operated during the last five years. We compared these with the literature. We have operated on 27 hands by regional or total fasciectomy using Z plasty or Skoog's quardran-gular skin incision. We compared our results by Michon-Tubiana's clas-sification table. We have tried to draw attention to this conditions because very few cases have ben reported in Turkish Medical Literature.
