Intussusception is the most common cause of intestinal obstruction in childhood. 11 children with intussusception were retrospectively reviewed in the departmant of pediatric surgery in Selçuk Üniversity medical faculty. Age configuration, symptoms and signs were similar with the other reports, but most of the patients were girls (girl I boy:9/2) and (his made the difference. Besides intestine resection ratio was high and the patients presentations in hospital were lale. There is a relationship between resection ratio and the patients lale presentations. And this was related to the loss of time with the wrong diagnosis and treatment.
