This study analysis the results of ptosis surgeriy on 19 eyelids of 17 patients operated between June 1989 - June 1993. 7 eyelids with severe ptosis have been treated by means of frontalis sling whereas 12 eyelids with minimal or moderate ptosis underwent levator resection. A 79% overall success rate has been recorded which parallels with the previous reports in the ophthalnıic literature.
