In this study, where 24 rabbits were used, an embolic cerebral ischemia was developed after dextrose giving in half of the rabbits and without dextrose giving in the °iller half At the rabbits, which were killed 24 hours after embolisation, volumes of cerebral infarct were de.termined; alsa the changes in serum CK and LDII levels were investigated. The results were discussed and literature was reviewed.
