We investigated 500 epileptic cases registered to Dokuz Eyliil University Medical School Neurology Departmen Epilepsy Clinic between the dates of May 1991 and July 1994_ In this study the de-mographic characteristics, seizure types and fre-quencies, the age of seizure onset, factors that pro-vake the seizures, treatment protocols, patients participation and cooperation to their treatment, the resistance or benefit of the treatment, drug side af-fect, neurologic findings, EEG characteristics and neuro-imaging features were described and the re-sults are discussed.
