167 vascular reconstructive operations have been performed in our clinic using a prosthetic vas-cular graft (Dacron or PTFE) and/or autogenous vein graft between the dates of January 1988 -March 1996. During their follow up in this period 6 graft infection (%3.56) have been developed. Our major treatment protocol in graft infections was to remove the infected graft totally and to use app-ropriate antibiotics according to culture results. Our morbidity was I amputation . In different series incidence of graft infections is reported to he between 1.3 - 6%.
