Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) virus, which is classified in the family of Bunyaviridae and Nairovirus genus and grouped in arbovirus is RNA-containing helical type capsid and enveloped virus. This infection which is caused by these viruses has severe disease manifestations and a very high fatality. The aim of this study was to investigate the seroprevalence of CCHF in Konya and so it was planned to screen IgG-type antibody. For this purpose, 1000 healthy blood donors who referred to the Blood Center of Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Medical Faculty Hospital, were included in the study While 154 (15.4%) blood donors were living in rural areas, 846 (84.6%) of the donor were lived in the city center. Of these individuals, 947 (94.7%) were male and 53 (5.3%) were female. ELISA basedCCHF IgG commercial test kit (VectocrimeanCHF-IgG, Bectop, Russia) was used to determine the specific IgG antibody developed against CCHF. Eight of tested samples (0.8%) were positive for the presence of antibodies against CCHF and 992 (99.2%) were negative. The presence of IgG antibody prevalence of CCHF after research indicates the presence of a small number of illness in Konya. For the detection of regional prevalence of the disease similar studies will be useful in other provinces. In aspect the route of transmission of this virus infection, because of this infection is caused by tick
