Although laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding has been shown to be a safe and effective weight loss procedure, band migration and erosion in to gastric wall has been reported in all series. All of patients underwent laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding for morbid obesity and subsequently presented portocutaneous fistula associated with band migration.
