                Acquired diseases of the heart valves are fre-quently seen in our country and in most of the cases they require valve replacement. Selection of cardiac valves which has different advantages are needed for each patient, because of improvement of valve engineering and technology. In this article, selection of heart valves and their complications were discussed.
