The Effects of Bilateral Anterior Nasal Package on the Blood Gases on the Patients with Bilateral Nasal Polyposis

Bilateral anterior nasal package was applied to 20 patients whom nasal polypeetomy applied because of nasal polyposis. Arterial blood samples were ob-tained before and 24 hours following the removal of packing and p02 and pCO2 values were determined. According to statistical anaiyses of results, neither the changes of p02 nor pCO2 were statistically significant (p>k0.005).
