The lise of Küntscher Nailing and Plate for Shafts. Fractures' of the Femur in the Adults

The result of 67 adult patients in whorn 68 fractures of the femoral shaft had been treated by Küntscher nailing and plate were reviewed. Küntscher nailing and plates were used in 40 and 27 patients, respectively. There were 56 male and 11 fernale patients. There average age of the patients was 33.6 years (range 18 to 85 years). There were five postoperative infection, but all fractures eompletely healed.
