İn this study, anterior, middle and posterior clinoid processes were studied in total of 62 skulls belonging to Anatomy departments of different universities. When it comes to speak about the existance of caroticoclinoid foramen emerglng from the commissure of anterior and middle clinoid processes, whether any changes in the dimensions of optic canal ever happened was studied. As result, İn 15 (24.19%) out of 62 skulls caroticoclinoid foramen were found bilaterally. İn two (3.2%) only in the right side and five (8.06%) for the left side. Statistically, there were no significant dlfferences has been found betvveen the dimensions of the optic canal of skulls having caroticoclinoid foramen and those not having.
