Ultrasonographic Screening of Postoperative Liver Hydatid Cysts

Previously, patients who were diagnosed and operated for cyst hydatid, were recalled and 32 of them were screened again ultrasonographycly. Arnong them 10 patients showed recurrence of new hydatid cyst development, Further examinations have shown that these cysts were, homogen cyst, daughter vesicul#e cyst, and abdorninal cyst, respectively. Six of the 10 patenti were reoperated for this diagnosis. Ultrasonographic exarninations and peculiarities were discussed further in this study.
