Carditis, glomerulonephritis and acute rheumat-ic fener case important comphlications that may fol-low upper respiratory infectious, especially caused by Group A-Beta hemolytic streptococci. Serum levels of anti-streptolysin-O (ASO) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were measured in patients with upper respiratory infectious due to group A-B hemolytic streptococci. It was concluded that CEP and ASO were important laboratory tests in the follow-up of patient with upper respiratory tract infectious.
