Bilateral duplication of the superior cerebellar artery

The superior cerebellar artery (SCA) shows the least freçuent variation amongst the arteries in the posterior cerebral fossa according to its origin and localization. Bilateral duplications of SCA at the origin from the basillar artery was observed in 62 years old male cadaver during the routine dissections in the laboratory of Anatomy Department. Informations about these kind of variatons in this region may provide useful background knowledge prior to the neurosurgical operations and also for the evaluation of angiography
