In this study brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) responses were obtained from 45 migraine patients (consisting of 8 males and 37 females) and a sufficient number of control cases. Peak latencies (I, II, III, IV and -V) and interpeak latencies (1411, I-V) were calculated and analysed statistically. Latency values of the tıvo group (migraine pa-tients and controls) were compared. We found no sta-tistically signıficant difference between the values of migraine patients (in painless and painful periods) and the controls. In unilateral headaches comparing BAEP latency values of painful and painless sides of head was of no statistically dillerence. Our results were evaluated in the light of the relevant literature
