Type 2 diabetes makes up more than 90 percent of diabetes mellitus (DM) being of a quite significant risk factor fort he development of coronary arter disease and most of these patients are required to take oral antidiabetic treatment. Upon considered that the main cause of the deaths in type 2 DM is cardiovascular diseases it is necessary that the effects of the drugs used for thesepatients on cardiovascular system be well-known to have various direct and indirect cardiovascular effects over these influences.
