Childhood Urinary System Tuberculosis

Urinary tuberculosis is the second most common presentation of
extrapulmonary tuberculosis which is rarely seen during childhood.
Symptoms usually occurs during adulthood. Onset of the disease may
be asymptomatic and when clinical signs become apparent a serious
damage of kidneys might have been already occurred. We report here
an urinary tuberculosis diagnosed adolescent girl who presented with
hematuria.
