In the regulation of the immune response. cytokines in general, to hormone-like substances secreted from various cells that receive and activate antigenic stimulation; of these, those released by lymphocytes are called lymphokines, and those produced by mononuclear phagocytes are called monokines (1, 2, 3). Cytokines secreted by the immune system; Low molecular weight proteins such as interferon, tumor necrosis factor (TNF), interleukin (IL), and colony stimulating factor (CSF) (3). Colony stimulating factors; granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF). They are called macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF). CSFs are hormonal growth factors that enable the growth and differentiation of stern cell cells. They are released by activated T lymphocytes stimulated with antigen and cause macrophages to be affected and release interleukins and thus the necessary mediators gain activity in the immune response.
