The antidiuretic effects of chlorpropamide (diabine), clofibrate (atromide-S) and carbamazepine (tegretol) were compared in 12 cases diagnosed with central diabetes insipidis (ADH deficiency). For this purpose, plasma and urine osmolalities and 24-hour urine volumes were determined before treatment and after 10 days of treatment with each drug.
