Comparison of ultrasonographic findings with together chest roentgenograms in the differential diagnosis of the peripheric lungs diseases

Lesions in the peripheral lung area chest roentgenograms may be examined by ultrasonography. Solid and cystic lesions may be differentiated with ultrasonography (Us). ln 49 of 57 patients the US diagnosi.s of cases was correct. In 25(%51) of 49 patients lung !umar was diagnosed. In 6(%12) cases pneumonia, in 6(%12) cases hydatid cyst, in '" 5(%6) cases empyerna. in 3 (%6) cases encapsuie fluid collection, in 2(%4) cases absces5', in 1(%2) cases left ventrikül anevriysm and in 1(%2) case pericardial hydatid cyst were diagnosed. Consolidations were imagined in solid structures that include hypoechoic and branching sutructures. Tumors were imagined ta be more echogenic and homogeneus solid maseses. Atelectasis waüs imagined in structures consist of hypoechois bronchial and vascular echoes.
