Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) is used widely in anesthesia practice especially in outpatient anesthesia. LMA has got some specific complications. These complication does not generally result in impairment of the patency of the LMA. In the case reported the patient bit the LMA during recovery and seperated it into two part. We were not able to open the patients mouth so therefore we administered propofol in order to open the mouth and take the part of the damaged LMA from the pharynx. The patient was easly ventilated with a face mask after placing an airway and the recovery was uneventful. We believe that it is important to place a small size airway near the LMA for preventing complications related LMA bite.
