ECG Changes in Cerebrovascular Disease

Early stage ECG changes of 229 patients %vith cerebrovascular diseases have been examined. Of these changes of 162 were cerebral infarction, 58 were intracranial haemorrhage, 9 were subarachrıoidal haemorrhage. The results of early stage ECG changes were compared with_ those of 66 controls who have comparable age groups without having neurological signs and syınptoms. Abnormal ECG changes of patients with cerebrovascular disease were 73.18% while this was 27.27% for the control group.Tize difference in ECG changes between patients and the control group was statistically significant (p<0.05)
