Elastofibroma dorsi is a rare, benign tumor, characterized by fibroblastic proliferation and accumulation of abnormal elastic fibers. It is located in the subscapular region between the scapula and the thoracic wall. Especially, the suspicion of soft tissue sarcoma may produce anxiety. Magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography findings are usually typical; and, positron emission tomography may also contribute to the diagnosis. Diagnosis can be made easily with typical localization and imaging findings. We present clinical and imaging findings in three cases of elastofibroma dorsi.
