Evaluation of Fetal Malnutrition in Premature Infants

In 373 prematüre babies whose gestational ages were determined exactly, the incidence of fetal mal-nutrition chat is described as birth weight at or be-low 10th centile was found 25.4%. The rate of fetad malnutrition was increasing after 32nd week of ges-tational age. Maternal causes were determined in 66.3% of 95 patients with fetal malnutrition Feta! causes were found in 4.2% and no cause in 29.5% of cases. An obvious effect of fetal malnutrition on pre-mature mortality rates was observed.
