In this study, stool samples of 147 patients with diarrhea were examinated for pathogen protozoa. Pathogen protozoa were detected in 31 of stool samples: These were identified as Entamobea his-tolytic: (E. histolytica) in 20 and as Giardia latnblia (G. lamblia) in 11„5tool samples were examined for isolation of pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria by using bacteriological methods. Pathogen bac-teria in 2 also were isolated from the samples yi-elded positive for pathogen protozoa and this was found to be statistically in significant. The inc-reasing E. coli in stool samples with pathogen in-testinal protozoa were observed and that increase was found to be statistically significant.
