Exercise induced proteinuria was studied on 44 healthy players of the Amateur Foothall Tc-urnament Leaque. Their ages ranged from 16 to 25 years. Urine samples were collerted from the players before and after the ganıes, 44 samples were obtained from healty players and analyzedjor urine proteins electrophoreticly. Compared to va-lues obtained from the control pregam• values, the urine protein content increased sigmfirantly con-taining mainly alhumin, fl-globulin, and y globulins. Bul the values for a-globuliğıs did not change significantly. Urine proteins seperated biz nitrocellulose films were also qualitated from the proportions of the densitometric values (!f the peaks on the graphes. The values found in Iliis study and the values cited elsewhere indicated that exercise induced proteinuria is nonselective pro-teinuria and is due to increased permeability of glomerulus and, to impared reabsorption of normal amounts of protein from the glomerular filtrate or ta tubular excretion. Therefore, proteinuria ap-pearing after physical activity can be classified as glomerulo-tubular type.
