Expectations of our Society from Health Services

This descriptive study was petformed in order to demonstrate the expactations of our society from health services, in Konya in 1991. It was observed that 6% of the people prefer to Lake the health ser-vices from the health centers and 11% of the pop-ulation used the health centers. It was found that. 67% of people who gel services from the health cen-ters did not have any social security . Nearly 60% of people were cliscontent with the health services and mostly because of lack of interest and sincerity of health officers. In the interview, one third of the people stated that the health services should be of-fered free of charge. People who gets services from health centers had low income (monthly salary is less than 2 million TL) and low educational level . While 63% prefer specialists for their health services, only 2% state that (hey are satisfied the serices of general practitioners.
