In our experience, recurrence of lung hydatid cyst is not common, although liver hydatic cysts have high recurrence rale. In order to evolve experimental hydatic cysts in lung, we inoculated the hydatic fluid.s. of liver and lung hydatic cysts ta the lungs and peritoneal cavities of rabbits. The aniınals were sacrıfied at 14'h week and in exploration, there were hydatic cysts in lungs and pleura in boih groups and it was signıficant statistically (p<0.01). conclit.yion, we recomınend that care mut be taken ta prevent the patients with hydatid disease from secondary hydatidosis.
