Granulocytic sarcoma is extramedullary infiltration of leukemic
cells and the involvement of the gastrointestinal tract is rare. These
cases may present with abdominal pain, ileus, gastrointestinal
bleeding and perforation. We present an acute myeloid leukemia
patient that admitted with abdominal pain whose bone marrow is in
remission after chemotherapy in whom the reason of abdominal pain
was granulocytic sarcoma that occurred in the colon.
