Twenty seven Turkish patients with graves di-sease were typed for -B, -C, -DR antigens. There vas a significant increase in HLA-DR3 an-tigens frequency (% 18.51) compared with fifty Tur-kish controls (%4). Our findings support previous reports for im-munogenetk heterogeneity in patients with toxic Graves disease in American whites HLA-DR3 as-sociation was well recognised in most reports (1). HIA associations in Graves 'disease is stronger with HLA-DR loci titan with HLA-B loci (1). We analyzed HLA distibution in our Turkish patients to evaluate the possibility results of previous reports of Turkish Graves 'disease, except for one (13.14.15). In the later, DR4-DR10 association was do-cumented (14).
