Immunologic evaluation of severe preeclamptic pregnancies.

Betvveen March 1998 and November 1998; 20 control and 20 severe preeclamptic, totally 40 pregnant women were evaluated in Selçuk University Medical Faculty, Department of Obstetrics and Gyneacology. İn order to find out the immunologic basis of preeclampsia, total IgG, IgM, ASO, CRP, C3c and RF markers were studied. The control group was formed by healthy term pregnant women. No statistical significant difference was found be- tween the groups according to the immunologic markers (p>0.05). ELISA analysis was needed for such an immunologic study to find out the real differences between the groups.
