In vitro antituberculous activity of ofloxacin, amoxycillin plus clavulonic acid (AC), gentamycin and tetracycline was determined using mycobacterium tuberculozis isolated from 80 patients who were accepted to the University Hospital. The study was carried ot in the tuberculous Laboratory of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Department, The School of Medicine, Selçuk University, Konya. Additionaly, the sensitivity of the strains obtained from patients were also studied and determined with other antituberculous drugs. Antituberculous activity of oflaxacin was found to be 100% according to the standart MIC values and the other antibotic have shown varying degree of antituberculous activities. Higher resistances of strains were found for AC, gentamycin and tetracycline. Interestingly, the strains that are sensitive to AC, gentamycin and tetracycline are found to be sensitive to the antituberculous drugs.
