It was performed on 247 collars undergoing colostomy for various reasons in the General Surgery Clinic. 200 of our patients (81%) are male. 47 (19%) of them are women. The average age is 39. Colostomy was performed urgently in 196 (79.3%) of 247 colostomy cases, and elective in 51 (20.7%). Intestinal obstruction in 109 cases (44.2%). Colorectal injury in 64 patients (25.9%). In 30 cases (12.2%), colorectal cancer is the most common cause of colostomy. Of the 248 colostomies, 193 (77.8%) were temporary and 55 (22.2%) were continuous colostomies. Of all colostomies, 85 (34.3%) Hartmann, 52 (c7c 21) sigmoid, 41 (16.5%) right transverse. 25 (10.1%) were left transverse, 17 (6.8%) were sigmoid end, 16 (6.5%) were cacostomy, and 12 (4.8%) were double barrel type colostomy. 114 postoperative complications were detected in 76 (30.8%) of 248 patients.
