In this study, the ellerts of with(' and blue fluo-rescence lights on Micronucleus (MN) formation of peripheral blood rultures of newborns were in-vestigated before and after phototherapy. The study was carried out on tı.vo groups earh rontaining 14 newborns, and additional 14 healthy newborns is in-cluded as control group. Dur findings showed that the light sources used for phototherapy increased the frequency of MN considerably irrespective to the kind of light source that was used.
