Invagination is the condition whereby a segment of intestine becomes drawn into the lumen of the proximal bowel. İnvagination in adults is a rare situation and the causes are different from childhood group. A 33 years old female patient admitted to emergency service with abdominal pain , nousea and vomiting. In ultrasonography and abdominal computed tomography suspected from invagination so the patient was operated urgently. In operation a masswas palpated and segmental resection was applied. Post-operative 7 th day , the patient was discharged from hospital without any complication. In pathological evaluation well-differentiated adenocarcinoma was detected in all polyps. Although invagination is a rare condition in adult patients when suspected from invagination the possibility of malign tumor should be considered. According to this , wide segmental resection is advised.
